Fill in your follow up details
Sample details are filled in so you can see how this works. Replace them with your own before you send anything. Fields marked Sample are still example text.
A short thank you to the recruiter or screener who called you.
A date only changes wording like yesterday or last Tuesday. Leave it blank for neutral wording.
Used as: about how your team plans for seasonal demand.
A project, a challenge, or a question from the call. A short phrase works best, and a full sentence is fine too.
Used as a phrase: cutting return rates at my last company.
A short phrase like cutting return rates at my last company works, and so does a sentence like I cut return rates at my last company.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is saved or sent anywhere. The email app button hands the draft to your own mail program.

This only scans for keywords and length. It cannot tell whether the email is true or good, so delete anything untrue.
LinkedIn thank you message
Hi Dana, thanks for the call. I enjoyed hearing about how your team plans for seasonal demand and I'd be glad to stay connected.

Thank you email and follow up questions
How soon should I send a thank you email after an interview?
Within 24 hours is the usual guidance. Sending it the same evening or the next morning keeps the conversation fresh for both of you. If you know a decision is coming soon, an earlier note also gives the hiring team something to reference when they compare candidates.
Do thank you emails still matter?
They are still a normal courtesy, and a short, specific note shows care. It reinforces one reason you fit the role and reminds the interviewer who you are. It will not rescue a weak interview, but it can help when two candidates are close.
How long should a follow up email be?
Shorter than you think. This tool aims for roughly 25 to 110 words depending on the situation and whether you pick Short or Standard, and it shows the exact target next to your word count. Busy readers skim, so one short paragraph per idea is plenty.
How do I make my email sound less generic?
Mention one thing that only came up in your conversation, such as a problem the team is solving or a question they asked you. Then tie one strength or result of yours to it. You can type ordinary sentences into those boxes, and the tool reshapes them so the draft reads smoothly. Wording options give you nine different drafts to choose from.
Should I email every person I interviewed with?
Yes, if you have their contact details. Write to each person separately and change at least one line so it reflects something only they said. The tool can produce a lightly varied version for each interviewer, with its own LinkedIn text, but you should still personalize each one before sending.
How many times can I follow up if I hear nothing?
A reasonable pattern is one gentle nudge about a week after the interview and one final check in about two weeks after it. After that, stop and move on with your search. If they reply later, you can pick the conversation back up.
Is it okay to follow up on an application I sent last week?
Yes. Waiting five to seven business days, then sending one short note to a named recruiter or hiring manager, is reasonable. Restate your interest, add one specific reason you fit, and ask whether the role is still open.
What should I say after a rejection?
Reply within a day or two, thank them for the time, mention something you enjoyed, and say you would welcome future openings. Do not argue the decision. If you want to learn from it, ask politely for one or two points of feedback and accept a short answer or none at all.
Should I send an email or a LinkedIn message?
Email is the better default after an interview, because the recipient expects it and it can carry a few sentences. A short LinkedIn message works well for networking, referrals, or when you only have a connection there. The tool gives you a two sentence LinkedIn version of every email and counts its characters against the 300 character limit for connection notes. Some free accounts allow fewer, so check the box LinkedIn shows you.
Does this tool save or send what I type?
No. Everything runs in your browser using built in templates. Nothing you type is saved, sent to a server, or shared, and no AI service is called. The Open in email app button simply hands the draft to your own mail program. The tool cannot know what is true for you, so read every sentence and delete anything that does not match what happened.
