Our Commitment
ShouldApply is committed to making our website accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level.
Current Status
We are actively working to improve the accessibility of our platform. The site is built with semantic HTML, supports keyboard navigation, and uses ARIA labels on interactive elements. Dark mode is available for users who prefer reduced brightness.
Known Limitations
- Some interactive dashboard components may not be fully screen reader compatible
- Color contrast on certain score badges may not meet AAA standards
- PDF resume exports may not be fully tagged for assistive technology
- The map view on the job dashboard requires a mouse or trackpad

Technical Specifications
ShouldApply is built with Next.js and React. We rely on standard HTML5 semantics, CSS for visual presentation, and JavaScript for interactive features. The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
