How accurate is this?
Within 15-25% of actual offers for most roles. Adding location and company size narrows it to 10-20%. Calibrated for US roles.
Why doesn't my title match?
The estimator needs a recognizable role (e.g. 'Product Manager', not just 'Manager'). Try adding the seniority level or function.
Does this account for equity or bonuses?
No. These are base salary estimates only. Total compensation at tech companies can be 20-50% higher with stock and bonuses.
Can I use this for non-US roles?
The ranges are calibrated for US salaries. International roles will vary significantly based on local market rates.
