Scores are not frozen the moment you save a job. A cron runs every 24 hours and rescores everything on your dashboard against your current profile and the latest job description. If anything has changed, the number changes too.

What it does

Rescores every active job on your dashboard once per day against your current profile.

Picks up changes you made: new skills, new depth ratings, new target role, new salary floor, new weights.

Picks up changes on the job side too: posting age (which feeds ghost probability), updated descriptions, removed listings.

Skips work it does not need to do. A SHA-256 hash of profile + JD prevents re-running the engine on combinations that have not changed, so your Gemini bill stays sane.

Why it matters

A score from three weeks ago is not a score anymore, it is a stale guess. By then your profile has shifted, the posting may be a ghost, and the company may have already hired. Auto-rescore keeps the dashboard honest. The 84 you saw on Monday becomes a 71 by Friday because you added a new skill that exposed a depth gap. That is the point.
