Why it matters
The default scoring formula is 70% profile fit, 30% resume match. That balance is right for most people. It is not right for everyone. A senior IC who refuses to manage people needs seniority weighted heavier than experience. A career switcher needs the opposite. Without weight controls every score is a compromise. With them, the dashboard reflects your actual priorities.
